Urgences obstétricales

In case of emergency, you can call the delivery room of the Santa Maria Clinic at +33 (0) 4 92 03 02 35 or go there directly (1st floor on the right).

You will be received by the midwife on duty who will call Dr Velemir or, if not, the gynecologist on call.

Ideally located in the premises of the Lenval Foundation on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, the Santa Maria Clinic includes a maternity with an international reputation. Equipped with 4 new “nature” delivery rooms and a dilatation bathtub, the Santa Maria maternity offers future moms an ideal environment for a completely safe physiological delivery. Future parents are invited to establish with the help of their obstetrician and their midwife a birth plan to fully experience the arrival of their child. Skin-to-skin, early breastfeeding and breastfeeding are encouraged. Dads are allowed in the operating room during not urgent caesareans to enable a more human and warm welcome of their child.

Santa Maria Maternity commits to provide a quality process to future parents through its center of parenting support. In practice, from the 6th month of pregnancy you can make an appointment at 04 92 03 02 42 for:

A guided visit in small groups : on the agenda, welcome by the Maternity team, discovery of delivery rooms, bedrooms and of the nursery and explanations on your stay,
A personal consultation with a midwife from the delivery room to discuss further your birth plan,
Sophrology classes to better use your breathing to relax,
Information on homeopathy and childbirth.

Registration for childbirth

Registration takes place on-site from the 6th month of pregnancy without appointment, Monday to Friday from 9h to 17h, at the admission office of the Clinic (ground floor on the right). You are asked to bring an ID and a certificate of social security (or the vitale card updated).
