In addition to follow-ups with your OB/GYN and your midwife, the team at the polyclinic Santa Maria Lenval’s parental support area offer free information sessions that allow us to answer your questions.

Maternity visit: Dads are welcome

Monday and Wednesday from 1-2pm or 2-3pm or 3-4pm

Visit of the maternity ward, delivery room, rooms, nursery and detailed explanations of the stay, maternity bag and breastfeeding. This session is carried out by a group of six mothers, with it being led by a midwife. This appointment takes place on the 1st floor, in the waiting area of the delivery room. Ring at the delivery room.

Birth planning: Dads are welcome

Tuesday – Friday from  1-1:45pm or 1:45-2:30pm or 2:30-3:15pm or 3:15pm-4pm

During this time of listening and speaking, a midwife from the team will answer any question you have asked yourself related to your pregnancy and giving birth. It will allow you to put your birth preparation into words. Then, an exercise session will follow on delivery positions and on stretching the perineum with the help of balloon with a delivery simulation. Wear a pair of jogging or flexible pants. This appointment takes place at the parental support area of the hospital, on the 6th floor maternity ward.

Sophrology relaxation sessions: Dads are welcome

Thursday from 1-1:45pm or 1:45-2:30pm or 2:30-3:15pm or 3:15pm-4pm

Individual sophrology sessions are offered, which will allow you to become more aware of your body and manage your stress. They take place at the parental support area on the 6th floor maternity ward and are carried out by a sophrologist midwife.
