The title: Kindness in C-section birth, the new challenge
The event is an afternoon of conferences at the Raoul Mille library.
Here is the detailed program (the order of conferences may be modified)
2:15 PM to 3:00 PM: “the concept of abdominal delivery (Abdominal Birth Concept)”
Dr. Luka Velemir, obstetric surgeon, on behalf of ICOS (International College of Obstetric Surgeons)
“Abdominal delivery is an innovative approach to C-section where every aspect of care is dedicated to the mother’s well-being to facilitate the encounter with her baby.”
3:00 PM to 3:30 PM: “C-section: Living this particular birth well”

When the birth pathway is not the one planned, how to experience this unique encounter with humanity and forge the fundamental bond.
3:30 PM to 4:00 PM: “Photography, a tool to foster the mother-child bond at birth”

Still image reporting during the C-section informs and allows for a conscious re-experience of the birth with a projection of photographs
4:00 PM to 4:45 PM: “Photography and the baby: the intermediate mother-child space”

Childbirth by definition is an intermediate moment. Photography can also be an intermediate support for an emotional space between mother and child.
4:45 PM to 5:30 PM: “Do perinatal memories have an impact on our future life?”

Can we consider the periods of conception, intrauterine life, and birth as a set of primitive experiences that build our behaviors and our psycho-osteo-biological balances or imbalances.
